Chess is an official medal sport in the 19th Asian Games scheduled 11 to 24 September 2022 at International Centre of Hangzhou Branch of China Qi-yuan. There will be two 9-round Swiss system events for men and two simultaneously for women with Rapid chess for individual events and standard time control for team events.
