Four Sri Lankan Trainers participated in Online Asian Trainer Seminar last December 2020 and secured their FIDE Trainer and Instructor titles.
FIDE Master Rajeendra Senaka Kalugampitiya (see photo above) has become the 1st FIDE Trainer in Sri Lanka.
Earlier FM Sunil Weeramantry had the title but is now a permanent resident in the US.
FIDE Master Prasanna Kurukulasuriya (at left in photo above) and FIDE Master Alahakoon (at right in photo above) got the FIDE Instructor titles for their performance.
Akila Kavinda (in photo above) is given the National Instructor Title.
