Please register your FIDE name in your Chess.com profile and upload your ID photo. You should join your respective Zonal chess club in chess.com.

Join your respective club. Otherwise we cannot find you in the tournament and you cannot be paired and have to be removed from the list.
1 hour before start:
Zoom login opens one hour before start of game. You should login to zoom with your real name in English (Latin characters). We will begin the roll call and proctor position of your zoom camera.
30 minutes before start:
If we cannot see you in the zoom room when we call your name, you are considered withdrawn and shall be removed from the pairing list.
15 minutes before start
Login with your laptop to chess.com/live. Otherwise we get the message “player not online”. If you are not in chess.com/live 15 minutes before the start you will be removed from pairing.
You must play on laptop or desktop for screen to be clearly seen on zoom camera. If you do not have laptop 15 minutes before start you will be removed from pairing list.
You should position your zoom camera to show your profile and screen as in photo with adequate lighting. We shall use only one zoom camera in the Zonals.
Starting time:
Pairing will be uploaded starting 10am UAE time. Be ready when the chess clock starts. Disconnection will be scored by Chess.com as a loss. Do not leave your seat during the game. You can go to toilet between rounds. The next round starts 5 minutes after last game. You can check pairings and standings at chess-results.com. Link will be sent via zoom chat.
You are responsible for your internet connection and the working of your computer and zoom. Keep your zoom video and microphone switched on.
During the lunch break stay logged on to chess.com. Do not log out or it will be difficult to log back in and you will lose by disconnection.
