Pouria Darini, Mitra Asgharzadeh are Zone 3.1 Men’s and Women’s Zonal Champions

GM Pouria Darini and WFM Mitra Asgharzadeh won the Men’s and Women’s Zone 3.1 Zonal Championships, respectively, held 22-31 May 2023 in Tehran, Iran. The event was organized by the Chess Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran under the auspices of FIDE and the Asian Chess Federation. The event was supported by the FIDE Planning and Development Commission.
