The Individual Rapid chess championship of the SEA Games is scheduled 16-17 May. Time control is 15 minutes + 10 second increment starting from move 1 for each player. There will be 5 preliminary rounds and the top 4 players shall play semi-finals (1 vs 4 & 2 vs 3) and the losers will both get bronze medals. The winners have to fight for gold.
