Sixteen players remain unbeaten after three rounds of the Asian Amateur Open Chess Championships, 16-18 November 2021 on Tornelo. A total of 175 players from 22 countries are competing in the 9-round Swiss System. The Women’s division was held 12-14 Nov.

Surprisingly among the leaders, 10 players are aged 16 and under including the youngest 9 year old Darmen Dauren of Kazakhstan, 11 year old Sina Movahed of Iran, 12 year old Velavaa Rahavesh and Surapaneni Sai of India and Reynard Kristopher of Indonesia. both 14 years of age.
11 players drew tie for one of their three games 17th – 27th place with 2 ½ points.
