The 19th IGB Malaysian Chess Festival 2024 is scheduled 13 – 23 September 2024 at the Cititel Midvalley Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Festival comprises nine events, namely the Dato Tan Chin Nam Foundation Merdeka Junior Under-12 Team Championship, Merdeka Blitz Chess Championship, Age Group Chess Championshp Under 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16, Malaysian Open Chess Championship, Daniel Young Chen Memorial, Malaysia Day Age Group and Festival Blitz Championship.
