RULES & REGULATIONS
The Tournament will be held from 19th to 27th October, 2021 on the occasion of birthday celebration of Shahid Sheikh Russel, the youngest son of Father of Nation Banghabandu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The event will be played in accordance with the following rules and regulations:
ELIGIBILITY & PARTICIPATION
Invited each Federation from FIDE send their GM and IM only. It’s invitational International GM Chess event
PLAYING CONDITIONS
The tournament shall be conducted as a Swiss System competition of 9 rounds and will be played according to FIDE regulations.
The time control is 90 minutes for the whole game an addition of 30 seconds per move starting from move one.
TRAVELLING EXPENSES
Bangladesh Chess Federation will provide Air Fare to all foreign Grndmasters (GM). Air travel expenses for the International Masters (IM) shall be borne by themselves.
We will arrange transfer between Hazrat Shahjalal international airport and hotel.
ACCOMMODATION
Bangladesh Chess Federation will provide free accommodation, food and local transportation to foreign GM’s and IM’s.
PRIZES
Total prize fund is 55,000 US $ as follows. Prize money will be not shared
1st- US $ 10,000, 2nd- US $ 7,000, 3rd – US $ 5,000, 4th- US $ 3,000, 5th- US $ 2,000,
6th- US $ 2,000, 7th – US $ 2,000,8th- US $ 2,000,9th- US $ 1,000, 10th-US $ 1,000,
11th-US $ 1,000, 12th-US $ 1,000,13th-US $ 1,000, 14th-US $ 1,000, 15th-US $ 1,000, 16th-US $ 1,000,17th-US $ 1,000, 18th-US $ 1,000, 19th-US $ 1,000 and 20th-US $ 1,000

REGISTRATION
Requested to all foreign countries to send their GM and IM names on or before 5th October, 2021 with passport copies and photo ID at Bangladesh Chess Federation,

VISAS
Bangladesh Chess Federation will arrange visa on arrival at Hazrat Shah Jalal International Airport, Dhaka, Bangladesh. All players must send a copy of passport (page with photo and key information), to Bangladesh Chess Federation before the 5th October, 2021
