The ASEAN Age Group Zone 3.3 Online Chess Championships have started with over 500 players participating from nine countries, namely Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Chinese Taipei and Vietnam. The tournament is organized by the Asian Chess Federation and hosted by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines.

The tournaments are 9-round Swiss system events except for Under-16 girls which is a 9-round Round Robin. Time control is 15 minutes plus increment of 10 seconds per move starting from move 1. Games are played on Tornelo and Fair Play rules are strictly implemented.
