Participants are 32 boys and 20 girls from ten countries, namely Guam, Indonesia, India, iran, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Vietnam and host Philippines. Top seeds are IM Saha Neelash of India in the boys and WIM Assel Serikbay in the Girls. At stake are GM and WGM norm for the champion and IM and WIM titles and norms.
