The Asian Seniors Chess Championship has started at the Auckland Rose Park Hotel in Auckland, New Zealand with 27 players from five countries in the 50+ age group and 18 players from five countries in the 65+ age group. Visit Vega for 50+ group and Vega for 65+ group.
The tournament is organized by the New Zealand Chess Federation under the auspices of the Asian Chess Federation and FIDE. See announcement in asianchess.com.
