Kazakhstan and UK Youth Teams Online Chess Match

Friendly online chess match between Kazakhstan and UK youth teams will take place on 31 October 2021.
The tournament is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence and the 30th anniversary of a Kazakhstan-UK diplomatic relationship. Visit the Kazakhstan embassy site in facebook.
The match will also take place ahead of Kazakh delegation’s participation in #COP26 in Glasgow led by Kazakh Prime Minister Askar Mamin.
The online match is hosted by the Kazakh and English Chess Federations and supported by the Kazakh and UK embassies.
The tournament will be hosted on the Chess.com gaming platform.
Time control: 15 minutes + 10 seconds.
Each country will be represented by 12 chess players: 2 boys and 2 girls in each of the age categories of up to 12, 14 and 16 years.
Schedule (London/Nur-Sultan time):
13:45/19:45 – Opening ceremony
14:00/20:00 – Round 1
15:00/21:00 – Round 2
The referee of the match is Kausar Bauyrzhan, an international Arbiter.
All the tournament participants will receive memorable souvenirs from Kazakh and UK embassies.
