
Kazakhstan Youth topped the Western Asia Youth Rapid Chess Championship with four gold medals followed by India with three gold medals and host Sri Lanka with two golds and three silver medals. A total of 320 players are participating from ten countries, namely Bangladesh, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and host Sri Lanka. Russian players are competing as neutral individuals.
