After a long time, Nepal has conducted an OTB tournament. the event is held in the memory of former president of NCA and FIDE Ethics commission member the late Rajesh Hari Joshi. It is a running shield tournament which means it will be every year. There is immeasurable work done by the late Rajesh Hari Joshi in chess of Nepal which will be remembered forever.

We were very much excited to see the tournament being started after a long time which was stopped due to COVID and eagerly waiting for everything to go normal.
