Uralsk open 2023 – stage of the Cup of Kazakhstan
International Chess Tournament – Uralsk-open 2023” is held in Uralsk from July 20 (arrival) to July 29, 2023 (departure) and is stage Cup Kazakhstan among men and women.
Tournament with a total guaranteed prize pool of 23,000 000 tenge.
Venue of the competition is Uralsk, 5th microdistrict, 12 “a”, Palace of Culture “Atameken”.

4.1.1. The pairing is carried out using the Swiss program manager.
4.1.2. Tournaments are held according to the Swiss system in 9 rounds according to FIDE rules with rating calculation.
4.1.3. KCF guarantees the participation in the tournament of at least 10 countries, with the observance of the mandatory standards for the number of foreign participants (at least 20) and holders of international titles (at least 10) necessary to fulfill the norm of an international master, international grandmaster.
4.2. Time control:
90 minutes with an addition of 30 seconds for each move made by each participant.
