Vietnam won the 2021 Asian Youth Chess Championships Open division held 22-24 October 2021 on Tornelo with 3 gold medals followed by India with 2 golds and China with one gold. Close to a thousand boys from 22 counries participated inthe 9-round Swiss System tournament. The tournament was hosted by the All India Chess Federation under the auspices of the Asian Chess Federation.
