Vietnam, Philippines and Malaysia won ASEAN Age Group Chess Championship Team Awards. Over 500 players from nine countries participated, namely Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Chinese Taipei and Vietnam. The tournament was organized by the Asian Chess Federation and hosted by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines from 19-21 April 2022 on Tornelo.
