The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineer (IIEE) and Institute of Electronic Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) Friendship Games are scheduled 12th June 2024 in celebration of the 126th Philippine Independence day, in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines.

The event will showcase an Open Chess Executive tournament and a basketball exhibition game between the two engineering associations at Remedian Court. The chess event will be held at Best Western Hotel with Savers Industrial and Building Solutions as venue sponsors.
The Smart Options Industrial Supplies, Inc., distributor of 3M products, donated the wooden chess, pieces and clocks. Players from electric cooperatives, telcos and other engineering firms are expected to participate with other engineering and executive players with Central Luzon and nearby towns. GM Rogelio “Joey” Antonio Jr. is also invited to play for both the basketball and chess tournaments.
A Php10,000 total prize is set with gifts from sponsors and hotel room coupons for champion. The event is arranged by the IIEE Pampanga chapter and IIEE Branding team composed of 2021 IIEE National President Allan Anthony Alvarez (Adviser), Chairman Mendro Lim, Vice Chairman Erwin Fernandez and business consultant Roseller Balanza.
Filipino and United States Master Almario Marlon Bernardino Jr. is the chief arbiter.
