Kazakhstan children won an outstanding seven gold medals plus three silver and three bronze to dominate the Western Asia Youth Rapid Chess Championship held 22 April 2025 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
Uzbekistan followed with two golds, three silver and two bronze medals to trail a distant second while FID players won two gold, one silver and three bronze medals to garner third.
