Successful FIDE Arbiter Seminar in Tashkent

Under the auspices of FIDE and Asian Chess Federation from 23rd May (arrival) to 26th May 2019 (departure) took place the Tashkent Workshop for the training of international arbiters.

The objective was to train and to certify a cadre of FAs and IAs from Asia, who are on top of all the recent changes in the Laws of Chess and the FIDE Competition Rules, plus are able to communicate in English efficiently and to be integrated into multinational arbiter teams at the top-level FIDE events.

Totally 15 participants from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in the Workshop.

The seminar was carried out by IA/IO, FIDE Lecturer Husan Turdialiev (Uzbekistan), the assistant was IA/IO Vadim Tsypin (Canada).
