The elections for selecting the President of Iran Chess Federation took place on Sunday 2nd February 2025 in the Academy of Iranian Olympic Committee in Tehran, Iran. In the election there were 58 members including presidents of 31 provinces of Iranian Chess Associations, and 10 heads of clubs and delegates of Arbiters, Trainers, Players, and delegates of Olympic Committee and sport ministry.
There were 3 candidates in this election and WGM Shadi Paridar got 51 votes out of 58.
